EMACHINE E 4024 VIDEO DRIVER. PLZ HELP!!

Postby battyshazzy74 on Wed Dec 24, 2008 5:20 pm

hi

Please could you help I have been looking for a video controller driver for my E machine Desktop pc E 4024.

I have tryed e4allupgraders.info , downloaded it and it is saying my computer does not match the minimum requirements for the download, so I could not install it. I have downloaded it before and had no problems but now it wont let me.

I had to reformat my whole pc and install my audio, ethernet and video drivers manually. The others I have done find except for the video driver.

could someone please help.
thankyou

if the info i just called up is correct you should be running the video built in the intel 845GV chipset.
now it will fail to install if you have not loaded the main chipset driver first.

as you did not list your o/s i can only give you a link to intel.
download and install the INF EXE files first restart the system.
then install direct x update.
then go back to the intel link and download the GFX driver.

INTEL http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product ... 7&lang=eng

direct x http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

of corse all this will not work if you have a plug in agp card, if you have such a card please let us know what it is.
if all else fails you will need to load up a software program such as everest.
http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showt ... 24#pid4024 ( thats my own site so i know the download is virus free.
or
http://majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

the way to use everest is like this.
install and run the program.
with the program running look in the left hand list for display click the + next to it then click GPU
that should tell you what gfx card is in the system.
