cant add AVI files using roxio 9

just bought a new comp with vista on it and also has roxio on it, i burn a DVD image no problem well quick it was too, but the problem i'm havin is when i want to creat a DVD i try to add AVI files and it wont let me, all i see is a red circle with a red line through it for all the files apart from the windows media format. what do i do? Help??

you can add avi files under video wave if version 9 has that.
i still use version 7.5 as 8 was the biggest pile of poo roxio have done in a long time.
7.5 does have the video wave built in it.
and they still have not sorted out the problem of it deleting your drives if you uninstall it, you would think after all these years with that bug they would have patched it by now.

just in case someone needs a fix for deleted drives from removing roxio or other burning software i have a fix here from microsoft.
