I reformatted a hard dive and because i had a drivers disk i didnt think to worry about backing up my drivers, BUT upon restarting after the formatting, i discovered that the driver disk i have wanst working, i tested it in 4 different computers and zippo...so...i need to find a site to download all the drivers for the motherboard gfxcel pc100...its got a sis950 graphics chip (not that i know what that is, all i know is i only have either 2 colours or 16 colours) evidently all the drivers for everything were on the screwed up disk...the system is running Windows 98 SE...i would greatly apprecialte any help...

That would be a PC Chips motherboard, most likely the M755LMR the drivers for which can be found here :)

Go into Control Panel, Sound and Multimedia and see if the Show volume control on taskbar check box is ticked?

(I've based this on Windows 2000 so the wording may be slightly different in Win98 ;) )

I tried that, and the little box you tick is shaded out so it cannot be ticked...i have tried just about everything i know...but then im no expert either...any other sugguestions?
