USB Driver for Windows XP Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro

Postby northernboy on Thu May 13, 2004 2:42 pm

I need to know if I can activate my Sidewinder Joystick using windows XP? I DO NOT have a game port connection on my computer. I am using a USB connection. I tried to use Sidewinder Auto Detect in Game controllers but it ONLY recognizes the game port and not the USB connection. The USB connection is recognized in Game Controlers but when I go to calibrate it, it just zooms through the sequence and doesn't allow me to do anything but click finish. I have heard of people getting the joystick to work but I am at a loss. If anyone can give me suggestions or a cure I would greatly appreciate it!!! Maybe I'll have to install a game port???
