Damage due to power surge - advice on repair vs replace?

I have an older pentium computer that was damaged due to a power surge. It no longer powers up. I suspect the power supply is gone but is other damage likely? Is it worth getting into repairs or are the electronics likely to be unreliable or ruined?

Hard to say without replacing the power supply and checking. Replacement PSU's are relatively cheap so it might be worth replacing that and see where you go from there.
