The temperature AMD state as a maximum is a lot higher than I would be comfortable with specially if it's for an extended period of time :?

Do you have any thermal compound between the heatsink and processor?

Is the heatsink sufficient for the processor being used?

Is the heatsink mounted properly?

Does the Asus monitoring program give you the system temperature as well, if so what is it?

the bios has a temperature screen but the Asus probe only tells you cpu temperature and graphics card temperature.
